It may not bother most people, but just wanted to flag that there is profanity used throughout this book. We had seen some good videos or other materials on "Will it make the boat go faster?" and so bought this book as a gift for a work colleague who seemed interested in the concept. Upon flipping through it and seeing the profanity, decided not to gift it to the colleague. Just a heads up to anyone else that is important to.

Motivating Narratives Triumph Over Narrow Critiques

A phenomenal read and highly motivating. I'm leaving a review mostly to counter some of the negative points made by others here:

1. It doesn't just get to the point and is nothing but anecdotal stories: Yes... that's... kind of the point? Hunt-Davis must tell a story and give context to drive home a point. If you lack reading comprehension and just want a book with bullet points, then this one is not for you.

2. There's profanity in it: I assume if you're reading this book, you're an adult or at least someone old enough to cope with adult language. To leave a negative review just because you don't like profanity? Grow up.

The story of the British Olympic 8 team and their journey to the 2000 Olympic Final and everything that journey incorporates is excellent. Totally recommend this book.
