To remind me to have fun and that life is for living. They’re not too serious, some of them have a lot of swearing (sorry Dad), and everyone I’ve leant them to has thanked me for knowing exactly what was going on inside their head. As a previous sufferer of burnout, it taught me that, unlike time, energy is finite and pivotal for peak performance.
